Non Smoking Policy

For health and fire safety purposes, there is NO SMOKING in the hospital. We are a smoke free hospital.
 

Visiting Hours

General Visiting:
8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Intensive Care and Critical Care:
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
8:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Behavioral Health:
Monday through Friday 6 pm to 8 pm
Weekends and holidays 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm

Parking

Visitor parking is available in the hospital's garage, located across the street from the hospital. The hospital garage is accessible for a fee.

Payment is accepted via a payment machine located in the garage. Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover are accepted.
 

Cafeteria

The Food and Nutrition Department operates a cafeteria that is open to the public. Most items are prepared on premises. Here you can purchase a wide variety of food items from snacks to complete meals. We feature Duncan Donuts Coffee, Thumann's brand cold cuts, fresh pizza and a variety of hot specialties. We are open Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm.

Vending Machines For added convenience a variety of vending machines providing hot and cold beverages, frozen entrees, snacks and ice cream is available 24 hours a day in the cafeteria. Vending machines providing beverages and snacks are also located in the emergency department and outside the ICU waiting area on the first floor.
 

Language Interpretation

Bayonne Medical Center is committed to providing quality care to all members of our community. The hospital provides free language and sign interpreters for patients that speak languages other than English or for the deaf and/or hearing impaired. If you require an interpreter or have special language or cultural needs, communicate this to the medical center. Our interpreting services will provide on-site interpreters or we will access our Interpreting Phone Service, Cyracom International, to assist with your language needs.
